I was a Registered nurse in the fields of Critical care and Hospice for 20 years, my career in Real Estate overlapped with my Nursing career for about 5 years. The skills of care taking, teaching and information gathering transferred very well into the field of Real Estate. I have been a Professional in the field of Real Estate for 15 years and have come to enjoy this aspect of "helping people" very much. Buying a home is a major life event, I understand that concept and all of the emotions that go along with it.
It is important to me that you understand who I am, how I do business here in Loudoun County, and most importantly, what I can do to help you.
I have lived in Loudoun County for 30 years, raised two wonderful children, and developed many friendships and business realtionships here.
I have learned to combine my skills from both fields to offer my clients the benefit of my knowledge of the area as well as my expertise in the areas related to the Real Estate transaction. There is so much more to it than just showing houses to people. It's about building relationships based on knowledge and trust. Not to mention service and fun!
In 2004 I was included in the 2004-2005 Edition of the National Register's Who's Who in Executives and Professionals, as a top producing Realtor in Loudoun County. I am a past Chairman of the Board for the Dulles Area Association of Realtors for 2004-2005. Also, in 2004 I was named the DAAR Realtor of the Year from among 1,500 other Realtors. Leadership is a passion of mine and I have continued to climb the leadership ladder in the Virginia Association and the National Association of Realtors. 2006 saw many personal and professional changes. I re-married after 10 years of being single, we bought a new home, Long and Foster asked me to move into management for them and my daughter, Kristin, took over the listing and selling aspects of Pangle & Associates as the COO. It's been a year and a half now, the dust has settled and all of us, husband, daughter and I are adjusting to our new roles. Kristin in doing a wonderful job keeping our clients happy and I stand proudly in the background to offer assistance when needed. Kristin brings new ideas and energy to the business; she services the 20-30 something crowd with a style unique to that group. My baby boomer past clients love her as well. So, many thanks to all of you who have supported us over these last 20 years and welcome to those of you reading this page for the first time. We look forward to making you a client for life.
So, it's 2009 and Kristin and I are embarking on my life long dream...our own Real Estate company! I was offered an opportunity to become a partner in 1757 Real Estate Company and I accepted in June. Our firt office is opening in Leesburg on July 16th. Purcellville will open next, then Middleburg and finally a spot in One Loudoun. Built around the premise that "it isn't about us, it's about our clients" and we serve them with honesty, integrity and professionalism. We are inviting only those agents who are experienced and have proven that they carry the same core values and a willingness to advance those values in the community and the industry.
